Partnerships and projects

ENS Paris-Saclay's renown as a research hub owes much to its researchers’ and laboratories’ numerous European and international research collaborations, backed by a dynamic international policy.

Real solutions to innovation challenges

As a founding member of Université Paris-Saclay, the School partners with other member universities and grandes écoles to respond to calls for proposals.

ENS Paris-Saclay is involved in six competitiveness clusters and two theme-based research networks, and has established more than 100 international agreements.

60 industrial agreements

Research partnerships with large industrial groups, SMEs or start-ups focus on technological breakthroughs with significant short- or medium-term impact.
Collaboration can take several forms, including research projects, joint research laboratories and research Chairs, and is furthered through industrial funding for PhD research (CIFRE agreements).

IDEX projects

ENS Paris-Saclay is also involved in IDEX projects (Université Paris-Saclay's Investments of the Future programme): six Labexes, four Equipexes and five Lidexes.

The School's projects

ENS Paris-Saclay contributes to the research eco-system by conducting projects as part of both industrial and French National Research Agency (publicly funded) research agreements. Current projects include:

  • Sofia
  • ANR Cyanospray
  • "Industrial Data Analytics & Machine Learning" Chair
  • Joint laboratory: Thales Research & Technology and Aimé Cotton Laboratory
