If I were an algorithm, I would be a Monte-Carlo algorithm

Laurent Friborg, CNRS senior researcher at ENS Cachan's Specifications and Verification Laboratory (LSV), has written an article on the blog Binaire-Le Monde that explains his favourite computer algorithm to the layperson.

Laurent Fribourg is a computer scientist. His research focuses on the design and application of formal methods for the verification of embedded systems.

He is the first contributor to a new column on algorithms on the blog binaire Le Monde by Serge Abiteboul a researcher at INRIA and professor at ENS Paris-Saclay.

The article discusses the origins of the "Monte-Carlo" method (posted on June 27).
