Over 80% of our masters graduates are recruited by universities through competitive examination every year and 70% pursue their studies to doctorate level.

The development of research laboratories is one of the major preoccupations for all of the Écoles Normales Supérieures in France. As one of the founding members of the Université Européenne de Bretagne, the ENS Cachan - Ker Lann site carries-forth and fulfills this important mission.

The establishment provides education both in and through research. All of the ENS professors/researchers are attached to nationally and internationally renowned research laboratories - IRMAR (mathematics), IRISA (Computer Science), IODE (Law), CREM (Economy), IRCCyN (Mechanics), SATIE (electrical applications) and M2S (Sports Science). These research activities are organized within the framework of the Research College Hubert Curien. This is an internal institute dedicated to interdisciplinary research, the exchange of knowledge and student education.
