Prevention

ENS Paris-Saclay is actively involved in risk prevention for all publics and in dealing with complex individual situations.

Various bodies exist at ENS Paris-Saclay to prevent problems and difficulties that staff, researchers and students may face on an individual or collective basis.

Improve working and safety conditions

Health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT)

The CHSTC has a role of monitoring, advising and acting to improve working conditions and safety within the establishment. It relies on a network of 14 prevention assistants as well as on the remarks and suggestions reported on the health and safety at work registers.

Prevention and safety plan for students

The actions provided for in this plan are designed to train students, and more specifically, community leaders, in the management of risky behaviors related to addictions, as well as in first aid. For two years, under the aegis of the CVE, interventions have been organized throughout the year in partnership with associations such as the Red Cross.

Student psychosocial risk prevention network

The network allows for the harmonization of prevention actions and the methodology to be adopted once a situation is detected. The network is made up of at least one teacher from each department, the "correspondent", as well as a "coordinator" in direct contact with the Vice President for Education. Each student in difficulty is supported by a referent teacher who ensures long-term follow-up.

Paris-Saclay support unit

As part of the move to Saclay, a support unit has been set up to help prevent any personal difficulties that may arise.

Taking charge of complex individual situations

Medico-socio-professional coordination group

Its main purpose is to deal with complex individual situations that jeopardise the well-being of staff and students. It acts at the request of the latter, under the seal of medical secrecy, and brings together the stakeholders who can contribute their expertise in order to coordinate an appropriate response. The problems dealt with vary: medical, psychological, hierarchical conflicts, harassment, organisational difficulties in a department, social difficulties.
